A little off topic but I thought the '76 kit with the white socks (pulled up) looked pretty impressive on a sunny afternoon (I only saw them on the telly). Those white socks flashing in the sun on their way towards GF glory.😀

A clean jersey without a sponsor! Nice! The grand final team and retro has Pioneer but your video shows it wasn't there for a lot of 1976.

I think Easts went first with City Ford in '76 followed by us. Pioneer certainly got on board at the right time.

I believe that @EaglesDontTweet is correct. Easts had City Ford before we went Pioneer. Both were 1976 though.

Awful. It's only round 4 and already NRL clubs wearing gimmick jerseys. It's embarrassing for the NRL.

Manly has the best home and away strips in the comp. Just wear those.

Nope. Don't mind it for the one-off strips, but Manly colours have always been maroon jersey/white shorts, white jersey/maroon shorts - since I was a tiny little kid. Don't fix what ain't broke.

Too many one offs and rounds for this n that.
Just put saints v worriers game on and thought I was watching North's or salford.
I just like us in double hoops.

Yeh I thought it looked good too. I presume we ended up with the all maroon because our away strip would have clashed with the Titans indigenous jersey, hence the decision to go to our home jersey, but they kept the away shorts. Something different.
