Our forwards are the problem, not the backs. Unfortunately the injuries to Paseka and Olakau'atu mean we are basically stuffed now. Avoiding the spoon is all we have to look forward to.
We didn't have the forwards to start the year.

Tommy Talau has been just about our best on field for the last two games.
I’m a big fan of Talau and thought he played amazing last year. I did include him in the list unfairly, you’re right.
His lack of presence this year by comparison to last comes down to limited opportunities and injuries. But he’s played more than solid in his appearances so far

(Colateral damage in wanting a form update on Nav)

And by no means was I asserting the back as the problem for our form this year!
Both halves have gone so far backwards, and Dads army have failed on the front line

I’m really uninspired by Seibold though

After he did last year?

And Achilles injury is just bad luck not a poor athlete

He’s an adonis and a great athlete. I was referring to his luck with injuries and implying he’s often due a sideline spell, so it was going to be tough to lead the forwards without more help. Does that clarify things?
