Loved it when he was getting interviewed on Fox. They asked about his roving role. He said Yeah that was the plan, but I was stuffed after 10 minutes. (Not a direct quote, but close enough).

Gave me a giggle cause I had been watching him and commented to the missus that he looked flat as f*ck after the first 20min...

Brown must be hammering it this season on the MVP and cleaning up in the dally m points awarded to manly this season.

He has turned a number of games for us this season

Fair call, the drop ball cost us momentum at a crucial point and we paid a hefty price.

Thought at the time that we should have used the captain's challenge on that, because it looked like the ball was raked out. But turns out we needed that challenge later on.

I wish I was related to Daly! I’d have a family member that is one of the most decorated players the game has ever seen!

I love what Brown did last night but you’re probably one of about three people in the entire RL community that thinks Brown’s contribution was superior to Daly’s last night.

either way, you’re entitled to that opinion and it doesn’t really matter because we had a great win last night!

Brown was awesome. He gave us go forward when we were gassed. Without him I doubt we get a shot at the winning field goal. Bullemore was great as well.

It was Daly that won us that game, not Brown. A great game from Browny but Daly’s performance far outweighs anything any other player on that field did tonight. I mean even the line break to put Hoppa down the touch line was the catalyst for our field position that ultimately led to a penalty goal.

Agree DCE was immense but (like I've said in other threads) there's no game there to ice/win if jurbo didn't keep us in it!

Chez might’ve got the field goal but you’re right - it was Brown who won it for us with two huge hit up’s in the final set. Inspirational and I can’t believe he’s not starting over the cat Josh A.

Alioia but in a good first shift, just the dropped ball spoilt it for him. Brownie off the bench is working for us big time, why change it.

Same! Brown has been outstanding and he had to be because I hated him with a passion…that I no longer hate him is testament to a remarkable season from the big fella!

Yes what a big play from Jake! I also noticed he was the catalyst for the pass from Nanai that Townsend dropped. All the little effort areas make Jake so special!

So good off the bench, he comes on when you need that extra energy. I like he and Bully on the bench.

He's always been able to play footy. Has just had his brain explosions and likely will again. Was definitely a key factor in the win.

Not going to say he's the modern day Ben Kennedy, but another solid veteran we've brought in that's leading by example.

Agree, Bully just came out of the blocks raging from the first hit-up. Brownie and Bully we're just inspirational last night.

Yea I agree but think it would have been 50% 50% from the bunker on Talau’s. Nanai touching that ball on the other hand was obvious, not sure what the ref was looking at but glad we had the challenge.

Imo has won us several games this season, not just this one.

We probably win a few more if he was on the park a bit more missing a few matches.

It’s interesting he is meeting the expectations everyone had on Lodge and we all know how that investment is paying out.

The intensity and aggression is what we have sorely lacked in the forwards. I hope it is rubbing off on Sipley and Paseka.

BFB is also BK Mk2 imo. He gives us so much impact, is fearless and leads the way when he comes on and reminds me of BK in his day.
