Moses Suli

We really need this kid to come good. Would also like to see Jacob Loko come good but as a bench backrower. Winterstein just doesn't cut it and I have real doubts on Perrett and Lane putting in for a whole season now that Kelepi and Siro are gone.
Yeah that Loko has all the talent in the world but isn't he a bit of a loose cannon off field?? Very handy cheapy if fit with his head screwed on - in the early days he had rep footy written all over him.

Jeez what has Lane got to do to make you happy /

Leave the club by the sounds of it. Wish not granted though as it seems that Lane is going to be offered an extension to his contract. The club is obviously happy with the progress he has made this year with his move to the middle.

I did notice on Sunday that when Winterstein came on, the big bloke did actually move to prop. He had a pretty good game, missed tackle on Maria aside.....though I will temper that by noting that Maria gave exactly the same elbow to the throat that got Sam Burgess a 2 week holiday a few rounds back.

And on the original thread topic of Suli.....he made some strong runs on Sunday, but I think he needs to work on his defence. It will be interesting to see how he goes over the next few weeks until Jorge and Brad Parker return from injury.

Nice articles about Moses on nrl.com yesterday. Interesting to read that there are a number of players who have a long trek to work everyday including Jono Wright who lives in the Central Coast.

Childhood mates driving Suli's NRL return

Moses Suli is on time and back in the top grade thanks to some of his oldest football connections at his newest NRL club.

Three months after being sacked by the Bulldogs for ill-discipline, and only a month after the Tigers did likewise, Suli returned to first grade in Manly's desperate 22-20 loss to the Roosters on Sunday.

When once Suli overslept in the car park while his Tigers teammates were training, Sea Eagles officials say he hasn't been late for a single session after joining their ranks in early March, coach Trent Barrett telling NRL.com "he hasn't missed a beat since being here."

Driving the talented teen is a desire to get back to where he belongs, fulfilling the potential that netted a lucrative $1.3 million, three-year Tigers deal less than 18 months ago.

Literally driving him the 90-odd minutes each way from his native Fairfield to Narrabeen, and getting Suli there with time to spare, are fellow south-west locals Taniela Paseka and Addin Fonua-Blake, with young Manly hooker Manase Fainu often along for the ride as well....

Carpool karaoke ?? What would the boys be singing ?? I reckon they'd be all R&B fans, punching out the Craig David and Beyonce tunes

I hope they have a big car as it'd be a squishy ride with AFB, Wigwam and Hooley Suli

Paseka, AFB and Suli in one car? Imagine an unsuspecting road rager going off at them cutting a lane and they get out haha

Isuzu...not so squeezy

The problem with Suli, is, he was on a train and trial, now upgraded to the 30. What happens when we turn him into a beast, and we don’t have the coin to give him a decent contract? He was on huge coin at West Tigers, I don’t think we can keep him.

Maybe it’s not all about money with , we reached out and given him a chance could be that’s all he is looking for at the moment unless his manager gets into his ear.

It wasn't that big. 1.1-1.2 over 3 years. 350k a year approx. Seems like we're going to lose uate so there is a possibility. If he becomes a beast it depends who we decide to keep out of him and Brian. Brian may even be pushed to the wing. I actually reckon he'd be a pretty awesome winger.

Walker and a fully fit Suli in the centres would make a dynamic pair
