The club's silence invites the conclusion that the story was on the money and it hasn’t yet been resolved.

Say Buzz noticed Singe's anti-vaxx posts on his social media & immediately assumed he isn't vaccinated & thought "here we go, some dirt I can make a story out of" & went down to Narrabeen Sports Academy taking a photographer with him hoping to catch Singe breaking rules for unvaccinated people.

The photographer gets a snap of Singe not wearing his mask.

Buzz speaks to Humphreys, who doesn't disclose Singe's vaxx status but instead insists the club are meeting all required protocols.

Buzz goes away & writes his article, essentially accusing the club of allowing an unvaccinated employee to work unmasked in a COVID safe zone.

How does Buzz know Singe isn't vaccinated?

How does Buzz know Singe doesn't have legitimate reasons for exemption (if he's unvaxxed)?

How does Buzz know the club & Singe aren't following all protocols for legitimately exempt employees (if he's unvaxxed)?

He doesn't, but that didn't stop him writing an article using emotive hyperbole making out the club & Singe are deliberately breaking the rules & dont give a stuff.

It was never claimed that it stops everyone getting infected.
Rather it protects you as a result of developing an immune response to the virus meaning there is a reduced risk of developing the illness, and a vastly reduced chance of serious illness or death if infected. Getting vaccinated may also protect people around you, because if you are protected from getting infected and from disease, you are less likely to infect someone else.

That means 95% didn't get sick. Every different vaccine has been described in terms of the rate of preventing disease, with various percentage effectiveness. All the approved vaccines had extremely high success in preventing serious illness and death.

And by the way, Just because the link is to a page by Dr Malone, it does not refute the fact that Fauci, head of CDC, Biden et all ..initially stated that if you get double vaxed you will not get sick, you will stop transmission, blah blah blah etc...contrary to your statement that "It was never claimed that it stops everyone getting infected".

The narrative has always been that the vaccines would stop transmission. We know now that this is not the case. The Omicron variant has been transmitted by double vaxxed people. How did it get into this country and others but through the vaccinated.

And now the TGA has approved 'vaccination' to 5-11 year old children..with a vaccine that was produced for Covid 19 variant, when we are effectively going to be dealing with a Covid 21/22 variant (Omicron).

I think there needs to be a more robust debate about the direction of our public health policies wouldn't you agree.

Feel free to produce an unedited quote from Dr Fauci if you can but that ridiculous edit job of a video doesn't cut it. I have heard Dr Fauci speak many times and he is always extremely clear. The vaccines are important to prevent sickness and death and reduce transmission of the virus. It was never claimed they would prevent every single person from getting sick and it was never claimed the vaccine would stop transmission. It will reduce transmission, in conjunction with other measures such as masks social distancing and hand washing. This is the message we've been getting since the start.

Hey I am not against vaccines. I am fully vaccinated and in the same boat as almost 95% of NSW population, who made an individual choice based on information at that time. Now has the landscape changed since then, of course. So for you to have the gall to claim to be the gatekeeper of all truths is a bit ridiculous and that should never be tolerated.

So instead of statements let me pose them as questions for you:

Question: were the individuals who brought the Omicron variant into our beloved country from South Africa double vaccinated ??

Question: does this not raise concerns on the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccines to prevent transmission of current (Delta/Omicron) and future variants??

Question: Should we continue to vaccinate our children 5-11 ( who are at minimal risk) with the current Covid-19 vaccine when there are talks of Pfizer, Moderna et all looking into producing another vaccine for the Omicron variant??

Here's my take on it, for what it's worth. The big reason the States are pushing that everybody should be double vaccinated, is because the Hospital ICU's would be overwhelmed wouldn't be able to cope with the huge flow of emergency covid cases.

As to freedom – let’s call a spade a spade. It’s not ‘freedom’ at stake it’s money and profit.

Freedom to be a self-employed contractor means free to pay my own super (lol), free to have no paid holidays. Or sick leave. The real freedom is only for employers. They are free to avoid paying award wages and conditions.

Sick leave was never offered out of the kindness of employers’ hearts, it was hard won by extended industrial campaigns by organised labour. People get sick. It’s not workers’ fault. Same with the pandemic, we didn’t create Covid yet again its workers – and certain sections more than others – who are being forced to pay the price.

After all the mega-profits made from the labour of Australians over decades are we yet so poor we can’t support our workers during a health emergency? The money is out there somewhere, where did it go?

The article which I have posted has links to over 400 case studies undertaken all over the globe, which was posted in response to your assertion that vaccines together with measures such as masks, mandates would stop transmission.

I don't follow Christensen or Kelly. Nor am I part of freedom movement or any other political agency. Again, my whole family has been vaccinated and I have legitimate concerns about the future direction of our public health policy and everyone, including you are ignoring the alarming questions:

I wasn’t being 100% serious, I doubt Donnie has much to do with specific injury management, he’s more there to get them fit. They went external with Turbo and have specialists working with him.

I’m not trying to deflect I’m trying to work out what you are getting at. You posted a mish-mash edited video clip published by someone accused of spreading vaccine misinformation so I suspected you might be anti-vax, but very pleased to hear you are not.

You said we need to question the direction of our public health policies, I asked what you propose but you still haven’t said.

Instead you keep asking me questions, sorry but you’re asking the wrong person. My guess would be that the best scientific information available is that from the WHO and the likes of Dr fauci and Kerry Chant. Also to put in context my earlier comments - my concerns are twofold, and linked.
First the plethora of conspiracy theories and downright false information out there about the virus and vaccines etc. Second the far right political groups that are taking advantage of the social chaos to extend their influence.

Clearly scientific understanding of the virus, vaccines and treatments is necessarily a work in progress, because it's all new and it keeps changing. However at any point in time there is a 'best' scientific view of what to do.

And for political reasons that best medical advice has been ignored to one extent or another by all the various govts around the world that are grappling with the emergency, some far more than others, eg Bolsonaro, Trump. Here in Australia we've had much legitimate cause for complaints but overall compared to some other places the science has been taken pretty seriously. As evidenced by our relatively low deaths.
