Everyone has their opinion and perspective. Your truth may be different from mine. But in my opinion, burbo is a less than average defender, never wins contact, gets his reads wrong and i mean as a backrower you need to be breaking tackles. Haumole is ten times the player Ben is and probably will ever be unfortunately

Agree mate….i like Brbo but as you say he’s not a backrower. Rarely breaks defensive lines & often misses tackles. Brooks needs another Olakau’atu on his side as his partnership with Brbo results in zero. Imagine Preston on the other side with Brooks.

If you compare his 2025 stats directly with Haumole you would probably say they are comparable players. Error rate about the same, Ben has higher tackle efficiency and an extra Try, Haumole has more tackle busts. Stats aren’t everything I know but teams need workers as well as the highlight reel players. Just think the hate on Ben is over the top.

There are a lot of variables to consider but all being equal and at the same $ at this current time and taking loyalty out of it probably Preston.
