Hey all,

I don't post often but frequent this place very regularly and i thought i would take this opportunity to wish you all a decent festive season. Its probably the last opportunity i will grab to frequent the site for a long while as i am off backpacking through Asia/India and Europe for the next couple of years. Unfortunately the off season has not delivered much riveting reading material for this last visit i am happy however to have a quiet board rather than one calling for the dismissal of our entire side due to the previous seasons performances.

Good luck to the Sea Eagles for 2009 and I will try to check out this site every now and then for a refreshing and realistic look at all aspects of our football team. Keep this place raw and true as the dribble over at the official site makes me gag. 

Thanks Dan for providing a great meeting place for REAL Manly Warringah Sea Eagles fans.

Talking of games in SE Asia whatever happened to a) The proposed game in Macau and b) which would also answer question a, what happened to Viva Macau Airlines Sponsorship?, they dropped off the jersey towards the back end of the season and replaced by The Childrens Hospital, which presumably a PR excersice by the club rather than being an actual earn in direct payment.

Viva Macau Australian Franchises had the sponsorhsip with Manly not the airline itself.  the relationship went bad (ie airline & franchisee) therefore the name was pulled from the jumper.  The franchisee decided to give the exposure to the childrens hostipal.
