HE ALWAYS BLEED MAROON FOR US IN EVERY GAME HE PLAYED
Why not throw in Joey Walsh straight away? I dont think Arthur is a 1st option.I reckon there’s a positive if the club lets him go early ( they probably won’t ) , and that’ll be we should get a player in return , from the list we need ( Prop, Back Rower , Lock , Hooker ) and some dollars in credit.
The years ****ed anyway , so here’s an opportunity to pick up a good player in a swap ( plus $$$) deal.
Yes we’ll have young Arthur as a halfback , and we probably won’t win many games with him BUT we aren’t going to win many anyway whilst the Dollar Chaser is playing silly buggers.
So for all the doom & gloom , this actually could be a positive.
Im just worried at 18 he’ll be crucified ( not by us but the opposition players ) and may never recover. Why not throw in Joey Walsh straight away? I dont think Arthur is a 1st option.
It speaks volumes when many other NRL clubs were chasing Walsh and no one was after Arthur.
What have we got to lose? Fogarty has only a few years left and Arthur is a NSW Cup standard half at best.Oh if Joey Walsh ever actually makes it to play just 1 game of NRL, he will absolutely be crusified on here, no worry about that.
He's made out to be the next coming of Christ.
He's Just following in the shoes of this clubs last premiership winning halfback, Club Captain, State Captain, Kangaroo, and the most capped Sea Eagle in history.
This kids balls better drop soon enough, because it's yeah throw him in, no one will ever know the difference.
How are our last couple of Messiah's going? Ones in Gaol. Ones just taken a year off away from the game to help him refind himself after some struggles. Albert Hopoate decided he'd much prefer to play wing sometimes in the snow.
Every now and then a Lehi Hoppa who just is the real deal does come along, so who knows. But expectation and pressure. It can break the best of talents, and are we even sure this kid is NRL material yet?
Career ending would be even better, he could medically retire and we can get our cap space back.Best scenario would be for DCE to get a season ending injury this Saturday. Fingers crossed. Hope it hurts too
Sometimes a coach needs to roll the dice and let kids have a run and try to string some games together. Lachlan Galvin seems to be doing ok and he's 19.Im just worried at 18 he’ll be crucified ( not by us but the opposition players ) and may never recover.
Think he needs 12 months in Reggie’s first
