Matt Ballin for coach?

People used to bang on about the Walker Bros for a while but they seem to have dropped out of the limelight lately..

They have not coached sine 2019 (it looks like)_ which is a lifetime ago. I was also shocked at their record where apart from their first year they were fairly average

More like, an under-30 half who can cut the mustard at NRL level is the exception to the rule!

Luke Brooks shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath let alone the same sentence as those guys mentioned...all those guys have one thing in common that Brooks hasnt got....Grand Final Experience.

I’d say there are many more bored in here with the constant dribble & bagging of our coach & players mate. When was the last time you read an optimistic post? It’s nothing but doom & gloom for some on Silvertails. Makes this forum disheartening & YES boring! I don’t need to read a book….im happy supporting Manly through the good & bad, with the exception of a few who deathride anything the club does. Yes everyone is entitled to an opinion but fmd it would be nice to read something positive!!!

I think some posters here mistake my argument about Brooks. I never said he was a bad player, he's a good player....but I dont think we can win a title with him in the team.

A bit of a fresh start in 2026 with HWSNBN gone. Hoping Hughes and Large blossom into good first graders in the next year or two. For Hughes age is not an issue as plenty of good players stepped by then. Fogarty is a big signing for us and hopefully will be a great mentor and teacher for Hughes. The club need to wake up and reboot the pack. Let’s run into the future not drag our feet.
