With the help of EnergyAustralia the Manly Sea Eagles will be going green for the 2007 NRL premiership. And to mark the partnership, Manly will play the Melbourne Storm in an official trial at Quad Park at Caloundra next Saturday night in green jerseys.
The jersey arrived the other day and is in my cupboard waiting for the winner as cliffy will personalise the jersey for them......it already has to "dan" on it

My mates at table #25 just barely put up with me wearing either my cap, polo or wind cheater at the table ... and even then, only one at a time .... I think they would slap me or finally put me in a home if I turned up wearing those ....

Just want a say that while nothing tops the traditional Sea Eagles home jersey, the 2023 alternate jersey is really starting to become a favourite design. Congrats to the club on this one. Well done.

Out of curiosity or boredom i tried to work out when did Manly last have a cleanskin jersey before PIONEER was added late in 1976.
Used the 1977 footy cards and some video found on twitter.
Seems the last cleanskin game was Manly vs Penrith at Penrith Park on Sat 31 July 1976 Penrith won 16-15.
The next weekend Manly played Newtown at Brookie and this looks to be the first game with PIONEER. Manly won 20-12 on Sun 8 August 1976.
Video of Manly vs Balmain at Leichardt on 22 August 1976. Definitely has the sponsor jersey here.
