And would you also have extended the contact of Gift, Whatnow, Kite, Lyon, Matai, Ballin . . . I'd image you'd say "yes" because you remember them all at their peak.

Do you think we are a better team now without them? They all still have plenty to offer imo.

It's the fringe players like Taufua, Wolf, Lui, Starling, Horo etc we need to look at.

I won't even mention the recruiting of Mason and Mateo.

Call me crazy, but I think he's gonna be going strong in 2017.
He seems to have finally gotten his legs right (I know they'll never be what they once were) and those two years he missed, plus all the games he missed from 2011-13, might actually help him play on that little bit longer.

All 16 teams think that. You see they all have great plans for the future, but only one will be successful.

They will give him another year, another PR disaster if they dont. Think it is right they do as well, players who have been there for years and bled for the jersey deserve it. The younger players would see that and in turn will help with retention.
