Manly Sea Eagles Coach Trent Barrett will be the next super coach in Rugby League.

He is that good.

Never before in the history of the game have we seen such a depth in coaching talent across all 16 NRL clubs, as what our game currently enjoys today. Our coaching ranks are outstanding. The modern-day coaches are so professional and every player at every NRL club gets every chance to be the best they can be.

His players are playing out of their skins for him. Whilst I wasn't a believer in 2016 I certainly am now.
 
How much Baz and how much Bozo ??

Barrett has been under the watchful eye of some smart football brains during his coaching career at NSW, Penrith, Country and here. Bozo, Gould, Cleary, Daley - that's a fair apprenticeship to serve and a truckload of RL knowledge to draw on - you'd want to hope something has sunk in.
 
Great year so far - we just can't read our own press. Great to see combinations really starting to form.
 
You'd have to think he's a lock for Dally M coach of the year at this point. I can't think of any other coach more deserving of the award.

If Parra Make the 8 which I think they will, that is also a massive achievement considering they
Haven't made finals since 09 and rarely sighted before that.
But a top4 finish for Manly would be a higher achievement

hindsight is a beautiful thing…but it is a thread that really didn’t get a lot of traction…not even one page!!! which says people around here must have an intuition for quality or in this case a lack of it.. My wife always said he was certainly the best looking Manly coach though….

He did alright for someone who's trophy cabinet is pretty bare...his bank balance probably makes up for it.
