I am in the 'one-owner-is-not-ideal' faction but so far I must admit there has been a welcome, very positive change since the Penn buy-out.Killer03 said:This is the best news I've heard since the 2006 announcement that Jamie Lyon was coming to the Sea Eagles. Whilst it doesn't guarantee anything, it shows a strong leadership and focus and tells the players 'we want you, we're paying well, so if you want to stay let's go for it! If this doesn't suit....then **** off!'
If we can keep these 2 together we can be a genuine Top 4 chance for years and years to come.

It may only be media spin (how would I know?) but there have been more upbeat Manly stories in the past two weeks than in the previous two years.
As usual very funny and clever bones but you forgot the most important member of our now one happy family and that is our one and only Zorba 🙂bones said:

This could has easily been another Giftygate. Instead - proactive, big offer, shows respect and commitment.
You can't treat this like an auction and come in at the end.
Both players (and their managers) would appreciate this too. Going into xmas knowing their future could be sorted would be a nice feeling for both lads.

I don't think either of them would struggle on the open market just quietly.
