He did his best to get rid of us. Butler makes some really good calls sometimes and sees things before anyone else, tonight he saw things no one else saw even in the replays

I thought the Warriors really came to play tonight. Defensively we were pretty good, especially when they pressured us early, and we did very well to absorb that pressure and then score on our first opportunity. Looked like we could really go on with it, but dropped balls and some appalling refereeing soon put a stop to that.

We needed to be better in the second half, and we were. Very happy not to concede any second-half points and get away with the win.

So many on report for things that just shouldn't have happened. The first 10 mins was them smashing us high, then they get a penalty for a high shot.

Forward passes were off the chart and their 10m was shorter than my patience for my step son.

He was way to whistle happy for anything he could find against us and even for us sometimes.

I get the feeling he's been told something and we will see a crackdown around finals which will ruin the whole thing

I know I am a one eyed prick when it comes to footy but I am pleased to see all other comments re Butler’s effort tonight - he only watched one side tonight. Not sure if biased, incompetent or plain stupid.

Good win under the circumstances, made it hard for ourselves.
