Going to say Manly will be mud runners tonight going against all wet track form sometimes class rises against wet track form
Manly to win running away late for a big score
GO MANLY

How about for the first time in fricking years - we just run hard, tackle hard, hold the pill and get repeat sets and great field possession from kicks for 80 mins???? I know, I know...I'm obvs asking too much of this team. Cannot be that hard surely. Sorry I'm very disenchanted with this club atm.

They just don’t seem to know how to play in the wet !!

It’s obviously a very simple game plan with the majority of scoring in the middle and possession is the absolute key , no fancy stuff , keep it simple, truck it up , kick to the corner , defend and repeat.

SO, why is it so hard for them??

i would also tell marty afb and tank off the bench no offloads just fast hard straight running, you never know it may actually work
Not a lot of offloads from AFB and Paseka anyway this year, and I've noticed that the last 2-3 weeks that Kapow has shelved the offload as well - only 1 or 2 a game. He seems more intent on getting those post contact metres. Maybe Des has already had a word in his shell like.

So strange we don't play well in the wet, given we prefer to play/score in the middle third and have a good long kicking game.

Not our most recent win in the rain, but looking back in 2016 when we beat the Warriors during heavy rainfall in Perth was an amazing win.
Didn’t we beat them in a classic in the wet in Auckland. Dce FG off the left. They were up s bunch and we came and got em late. Just remember that game and take those happy thoughts in. If our attitude is on we will have no problem beating these guys tonight. I’d almost say that if we don’t win this, we likely won’t play finals footy.

At least this will suit all our unflashy players. They are perfect for simple no frills footy

Hold the ball and complete our sets we win. Possession is crucial especially in this weather.
