Not so long ago that tactic would have worked & we would have been flogged but we’ve definitely got a bit of resilience these days.

Manly hasn't been flogged for quite a while, in fact the 14 point loss to Souths with half our team out is the biggest loss we've had since June last year.
Copped a few floggings in Seibold's first season but we are definitely trending up in consistency and fighting out close games.
Aside from the Souths score, our other losses this year were by 4, 8, 2, 6, 1, and 10 (Panthers in R14)

Manly had to overcome a slow start, AND an atrocious DCE who was playing for the Titans.
After DCE horrible game for QLD in game 3 he backs it up with this disaster.
Manly are lucky the Titans collapsed, and a lot of that is because of Foran who kept sprinting towards Manly defence line making sure he could only play short balls which was a disaster for their attack.

Turbo at 70-80% fitness is twice as good as DCE but gets paid a lot less. This club will never be successful while DCE is paid that much which is a waste of money on a mid player that will always cause Manly to be uncompetitive against better teams.

Think you need to go to the dark mode brother , your posts will go down really well there , not so here given the responses to date.

It’s a very good point this one , zero floggings , a couple of “ off games “ and lots of really close games that could have gone either way.

According to all reports, DCE is now on a smaller contract than Turbo. His eight year deal ran out last year.

Seibs has us going well. Recruitment steady.

Its no coincidence Manly look the real deal when turbo goes good. Improvement everywhere but tom makes us believe

This week is huge for the club and a win would have all eyes on us as we cruise into the bye

Something a bit different after 3 weeks of relaxing and fishing at various points up and down the Dampier Peninsula & north Pilbara.

The busiest freight port in the world here , watching these gigantic iron ore carriers come & go this morning was epic , 17 in port now , 54 waiting to come in, operates 24/7 365 days of the year , never stops.

And the iron ore trains coming in from the Pilbara , 2.8kms long , 2 huge engines at the front , 2 in the middle , 2 at the back , and they come in about every hour , 24/7."

Oh boy, even that final pass of the game from DCE… a day to forget. I don’t think I’ve seen him play worse than that… EVER.

Trust me just head to the DCE thread and have a read from any page around 2014 - 2018. There were lots of dark DCE days apparently according to a lot on here.
