Well, he said we’d be glad to see him…
Love you Des Always will
But not in opposition colors
Today we will all be glad to see you in your Titans colors lose

Those were the days, our Legendary feathered friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were the Great Manly and we Won The Great Manly Way

A very dangerous game against a real bogey side for us (gawd knows why). No excuses left, we can finish the day 5th or 9th.

Bad feeling this game Titans have a great record against us at Brookvale. Brian Kelly always plays like a champion against us and finally I can't see our pop gun backrow handling fifita and fermor.

I see a big win by the titans, hope I'm wrong.

No wonder, looking at that Manly team. 2016. Origin impacted teams i think, plus Panfas were top 8 the week before and Manly were down at #14 place.

Anyway its not that unusual Manly getting beat on a Sunday at home. For years the NRL didn't give Manly too many Sunday arvo games.

The stats only have to go back to the end of 2015 to see 9th place Manly & its red hot backline lose to 13th place Eels and blow Manly's finals hope up.

This is such a strong squad even with Koula and Olakau'atu absent. We should be beaming with confidence after piling on the points last week. I'm sure DCE will be itching to get back in the winners circle after Wednesday.

Looking at our squad I believe it is a really well balanced team.

Tom should be beaming with confidence after his terrific display last week and I think he will continue where he left off with another dominant display.

Garrick had probably his best game of the season last week and is finally starting to look comfortable in the centres.

Hopoate is an absolute gem. He has set a really high standard and I am sure he will have another cracker.

Brown never disappoints. We are so lucky to have him in our team. He is full of heart and always gives his all and he lifts the other players with his courage and determination.

I am still waiting for Ben to have his breakout game. He plays his guts out and attracts a lot of attention. He is a great ball player and I am hoping to see some of his creative side if he gets some opportunities.

Bullemor and Sipley provided great impact last week. They are both huge assets coming off the bench.

And Paseka we have missed. Even if we only get around 6 or 7 hitups from the big guy today it will just be great for him to get back on the field and work some match fitness up for next week's huge game. He is also very strong defensively and he will add a lot when he is on the field.

All our boys played great last week with very few errors so I am expecting us to come out sharp and focused today and put on a fairly clinical performance.

I am expecting a fairly close one but at the same time we are fully capable of piling on the points so it will be interesting to see where we stand now as we enter the money end of the season. If we win our next two we will be in the top 4 and then a bye.

This is our most important week of the season and I think the boys will put in a bit extra in these next two games knowing they are getting a week off
