I highly doubt Lawton will lose the 12 jersey for the rest of the season now, barring injury. Burbo on the bench is probably the best option, with the outside back versatility he brings. Very nearly our best 13, and I'd argue Seibold has very nearly produced the best possible team with what we've got. Think GCKT might be better off dropped for Paseka, as when Simpkin needs a break, you could bring in Burbo and shift Lawman to hooker.

Nor do I understand why he needed to say anything about Des and Manly fans (though I know it was the media stirring) - what does he take us for?!

Des taking Manly to court has nothing to do with us fans and it wasn't like he left us last time, we sacked him. As for the first time, that was 13 years ago! I won't forgive or forget that ever, but that doesn't mean we're going to boo him when he arrives at Brookie. I feel slightly offended.

He was asked a direct question about what kind of reception Des will get on Sunday, what did you expect him to say? Did you watch the presser or has some news outlet sensationalised what he said by taking quotes out of context?

I did watch the presser and expected him to say of course the fans will show him respect and shut it down. Actually I thought Turbo quickly dismissed it with an appropriate retort. Yes, I've also seen some media outlet typically sensationalise it by saying Seibs "urged" fans to show respect...really!

This is my Birthday weekend game and I'm sure it will be a cracker. The Titans will push us all the way I believe but I think the home ground advantage and having such a strong squad will see us come out on top. So hard to pick the score in this one as the Titans are in terrific form and have a few dangerous and exciting players but if we can get in an arm wrestle early and do the hard yards up the middle as opposed to going for the miracle plays early on I think we will come out on top by around 8-12 points. Although a nail-biting close affair will not surprise me in the slightest.

If we are on our game and frustrate the Titans then I predict something along the lines of 28-16.

However if the Titans play one of their best games of the season I think we will only just sneak home by 4 pts or less
