Riddle me this - how can an offside player be deemed 'passive' and not having had an effect on the play, when he has to take evasive action to avoid the ball hitting him? If nothing else, he has blocked the defence's visibility of the path of the ball.

I thought Api had almost butchered that but DCE was able to stand Tedesco up to score.
