The 2 goals dce missed tonight cost us dearly as well. Doueihi only missed 1 which was the difference. Plus most of theirs were from the sideline.

Sea Eagles ahead in every stat except tackles missed (35 v 28), conversions (4 v. 5) & final score.

No.1. Son says who we going to go for now were out.. only option is Raiders or Knights.
Hate all the others more.

Difference was Manly clocking off when the game seemed done - love the side till I'm done - but not our year
Unless we have a clean up next year wont be our year either
The same players have been clocking off all year

The game was a predictable you score I score game and again our defence and game managment made us come unstuck.

First 20 minutes was positive. A couple of really nice tries and good control had the Tigpies under the pump. Predicably we let them back into the game with an error when we were attacking then conceding a six again and got caught yet again when our winger was exposed by a kick over the back and they are back in it.

Another good period with some decent control and a couple of well structured tries and we had a very healthy lead going into half time.

Four minutes to go and we cut our own throats, ridiculous pass from our halfback and the loss of the ball leads the inevitable try conceded right on half time, this is happening way to much and its become consistent in our team, concentration and game management are needed criticially in that period.

The second half for the first 20 minutes was pretty even. We matched them for tries and held a good lead going into the last 15 minutes.

Again attention to detail cost us big time, We let a short kick off go out and they got the ball and scored straight away and the scored again and we were right under the pump until the inevitable try conceded with a minute left from a kick that we could not cope with and the game slipped away.

I was delighted to see Schuster, Hoppa and Morgan Harper looked really good.

DCE did well with the four try assists and he was our biggest attacking weapon all night. Where he failed was to manage the game before half time and with ten minutes left and I really believe that our weakness at 9 really hurts us in thes periods. DCE put a lot into that game and you could see how upset he was at the end.

What I did notice being close to the sideline watching the game was the fitness of our boys especially with 15 left, we were out of gas in a big way as the Tigpies got stronger as the got the momentum.

I want to see Des perservere with the young fellas, we have to get it right for next year.

Its time to spell guys like Sirro as hes clearly struggling and I would be giving young Oka another crack before the season is out.

The season is done, we are only playing for pride now. I saw effort tonight and I saw creativity. Fantastic to score 32 points matching our highest total of the year.

Our defence is shot, for the last 6 weeks we average 34 points against. You will never win games concedling so many points and we are all at sea when the opposition kicks, its an ongoing weakness.

I hope we see more kids get a crack over the next 3 games as we need to see what they can do.

Sad about tonight as we did enough to win and a harsh lesson for the younger guys that NRL is played over 80 minutes rather than 65 minutes!!

We had more ball to win the game but we missed more tackles .
As soon the the Tigers spread the ball out wide our edge backs and forwards had no place to hide.

How can DCE manage a game when he has players that miss 30 tackles in 10 minutes

No excuses for Hasler despite another Manly injury
AuthorTroy WhittakerNRL.com Reporter

Des Hasler best summed up Manly's 34-32 defeat to Wests Tigers on Saturday: "We had that game won 10 times over but we found 11 ways to lose it".

The Sea Eagles coach refused to blame yet another injury – a torn calf suffered by winger Jorge Taufua in the 31st minute – on the team's capitulation at Lottoland.
They led 20-6 midway through the opening term and had a 10-point buffer with eight minutes to go, but two late Tigers tries stole the result.

"It's one we should have won, no matter how many excuses you make," Hasler said.

"Sure, we had a couple of debutants which freshened it up, we lost players, but still … We just panicked. We didn't need to panic but we did."

Hasler expected Taufua to miss the remaining three games, joining the likes of Reuben Garrick, Moses Suli, Brendan Elliot, Dylan Walker, Joel Thompson and Tom Trbojevic in the casualty ward.

Fullback Trbojevic is hoping to return before the season ends despite Manly being out of finals contention.

"I don't think we've got through the last six games without losing an outside back. [But we] should still find a way to win," Hasler said.

It wasn't all doom and gloom, with rookies Josh Schuster and Morgan Harper impressing. Schuster was on NRL debut while Harper played for Canterbury last season.

Schuster, a 105kg five-eighth, was solid - a highlight being his no-look pass in the lead-up to an early try - until severe cramps forced him off after 65 minutes.

Hasler believes the robust No.6, who is the nephew of former Knights and All Blacks player John Schuster, could be a future star.

"For his first game, I thought he acquitted himself really well, as did Morgan Harper," Hasler said.

"[Schuster] is going to leave an impression on the game and I thought he did that today."

Centre Harper bagged a double including a try in the fourth minute.
