I agree with Hoppa but I thought Schuster played pretty well on debut, he’ll toughen up

Hopoate definitely isn't ready for first grade. Problem is that we've pretty much run out of outside backs, and the situation was that if we didn't play him we were likely to lose him.

He needs at least (the very least) half a season playing NSW Cup.

Schuster just needs some match fitness and I think he'll be a good 5/8 for us. Although, if Cust isn't injured next week what's the bet he replaces Schuster.

Early in the game some on here were praising Levi, and TBH I couldn't for the life of me work out why. Most of his passes were head high, and there was one time in the first half that we had a line out to the right with an overlap ... and Levi decided to run it to the right. For a dummy half who has played test football, the guy has zero football intelligence.

Hopefully Fainu is back in 2021 because Levi has been a big part of the problem this year with his 3rd grade dummy half play.

Tough decision coming up for the club.Do they spend a bit and get a decent 9,if there’s any available or do they pay peanuts for another stop gap option in the hope Fainu is cleared?Dragons were in the same position with DeBelin and re-signed him with a clause that allows them to get him off their cap if he’s found guilty.Difference is,Fainu is more valuable to Manly than DeBelin is to Dragons

Yeah, I'm no professional coach, but I recalled two very clear incidences where Levi clearly went the wrong way and killed momentum. It was like the whole team was zigging while he decided to zag.

Nice comparing apples and oranges mate, last I checked DCE isn't hitting it up the middle. If you're going to bring him up let's compare his experience with someone relevant, for example their premiership winning, former international captain number 6 with 320 first grade appearances under his belt.

Just to be clear I'm not having a go, I'm filthy at what happened but I'm trying to provide a juxtaposition to the general sentiment being expressed here. I hope you can see that and wanted to clarify it as sometimes tone can be misinterpreted through online discussion and text based discussion.

The stupid thing was that it was actually the first time all game he had actually run instead of pass. Right at a time when a pass was needed.

The guy has got zero intelligence for a dummy half.

Max Krilich is 69 years old ... and he'd still do a better job than Levi.

Now the dreamers can stop talking about the 8. We are closer to the spoon than the finals.

Today was another opportunity to step up and we remained at our mediocre level .
The Tigers were ordinary but still managed to come from behind and beat us
We have a bunch of great players that produce the goods with a number of ordinary players that capitulate and drag the team down
We may not have a lot of money to buy rep players but there are players out there that play consistent footy to complement our good players .
For the ones on here that believe some of our players are NSW cup level were vindicated today
How many loses is that in a row now ??
The great shame of our proud jersey is how we lose
Either Getting thrashed or losing winnable games like today
These loses clearly expose the quality of some of our players
A very sad day for our proud Manly club indeed
