Regardless of the result we have shown we are a contender

If the Storm get refereed like this every week, they won’t lose another game all year. They are allowed to get up beside the markers, and move 1-2m forward on most play the balls which is huge momentum. Their 2 penalty goals have both come the play after huge forward passes

Win or lose from here, I’m happy. Keep putting in the next 40 chaps
They are always moving off the mark, particularly Smith and Welch

Oh now channel 9 go to Billy slater typical.

By the way win lose or draw tonight we are going to take more out this than the storm.

We have so much more improvement in us, they are playing at the biggest gear they can go to.
Yeah , good to see they had an X Manly player to cross too...

I’m not loving the spread...I know the commentators say you have to move Melbourne around but I think our attack suffers from having the play-the-ball wide all the time. All you need is one good run up the guts and you and play off that. We can’t get any momentum going wide all the time.

Right in this.

Think we are missing keppies big charges up the middle, big defense and some off loads, Josh still seems a lot of the pace.

There have been times when Parker has been given the ball, and was thinking Suli would cause so much more damage out wide. Foran feeding some good balls, just lacking that tackle busting run.

To celebrate indigenous round, Two Contracts Renovations would like to thanks the Storm sponsors for picking up the tab.

Lucky to go in all level at half-time on the back on an intercept try.

However...

The defensive mettle shown this game is exceptional. Hasn't gone remotely our way at times, but we keep putting in.

Super proud, better bench, and better coach. Anything can happen 2nd half, but our guys would be going into the sheds with more bounce, that much I can guarantee. 40% possession, 1-16 on tackles in opposition 20, 1-4 penalties, behind on 6-agains. Yet its all evens.

Storm must be like 'WTF man, we would normally be ahead by 30'

Lets hope we can stay in it this 2nd half, as Storm haven't been challenged for 17 matches now

I think they might switch to the guts with Tom lurking off the ruck.
