You don’t wanna go to the break down against Melbourne. To balance the ledger after an absolute bludger of a half, is a huge psychological advantage.

If the Storm get refereed like this every week, they won’t lose another game all year. They are allowed to get up beside the markers, and move 1-2m forward on most play the balls which is huge momentum. Their 2 penalty goals have both come the play after huge forward passes

Biggest leg up for the Storm is the latitude they are allowed in the ruck on D. If this was any other team there would be set restarts galore.
