Whilst we have been way off, we are 6 behind. A quick try and we are in this. The storm look dangerous but are struggling to convert.

If he's the only one in the middle trying to tackle I don't blame him. So far the only two I see trying to defend in the forwards is Jake and api. The others need to step up. I don't disagree that he's missing some tackles but I disagree he's one of the worst defenders in the game. He's pound for pound the best defender in the game with the effectiveness of his tackle in my opinion

Look at the size of him, we have been in our own end for a fair chunk of that half, and this guy has taken 1 hit up, simply not good enough

Even Brown has been more involved.

We are lucky it's not 20 plus. we can't make meters simple as that and they are killing us all over the park. wright and Kelly 2 duds seriously we can't win the comp with these guys. Wright tackles the marker the complete fool! winterstein fmd he's done what 1 run.. Our forwards need to step up Tommy is doing the tough runs and they are sitting back

It was Blake's fault for not getting back into the defensive line.

Just like Kapow in the first half. Makes the tackle on the 5 meter line, then sits there and looks at his team mates to try and stop a barging Scumo

I agree there but his effectiveness in running off our line and just his game awareness is lacking. He'll get better with age and experience but right now I think he's the weak link in our back line.

We were down by 18pts at half time when we last played them.

We are well and truly in this.

How many times have we seen Manly score a few quick back to back tries this year, we can still take ownership of this game if we cut out all these missed tackles and get a little momentum.

I just checked the stats mate. They say he has missed 9 tackles, I reckon they have missed a couple.

Lets hope he lifts in the 2nd half.

Yep, he must be playing injured as his power has dropped but he is still heavily involved.
As for Kelly, for those knocking him, the guy is really trying his guts out and his tackle off the kick before the try was a try saver. He's not making any mistakes apart from moving right from dummy half and Wright was why the try was scored, not Kelly.

His defence has to be the worst in the NRL and his dummy half work is poor.

Normally his defence is pretty good but 9 missed tackles in a half of footy really hurts

Its starting to show we have too many fringe first graders. Done well so far with the current team but the whole team needs to lift. We need to score first and give us some belief we can cause an upset

Will take that at halftime, realistically I would always be happy to stay with 10-14 points today, can handle 6 at half time. Reading through this though you'd think it was 46-6 at halftime !! Could still blow out a touch if they keep getting leg ups and field position though and head to that score

I can't believe there are people on here that rate Winterstein.He's lucky to be reserve grade standard
