I hope we win but like I said before, that pack is a sight for sore eyes.

We've got a bloke who no one wanted that's on a train and trial as one of our starting props. Outside of Bullemor and maybe Jazz I don't think a single one of them would get a top 17 spot elsewhere.

If we're going to win this we'll know within the first 20 minutes, playing at home will help with this. Here's hoping for an avalanche of 6 agains and some easy piggybacks up field early.

Agree. Our pack is atrocious. Only hope is that their pack has an off day.

I really can’t see how we are so heavily favourites for this game. Baffling. I hope it’s right though. I’ll be there cheering for them. Let’s go manly!!!
Yep agree

to me the bunnies look stronger all over the park in their team list

Yes no Cody and latrell but still a very dangerous team and with Brandon Smith the cheese included they look stronger.

Media and everyone is giving them no chance today, just how Wayne likes it.

We need to start strong and not give south's a sniff.

Manly by 1 will do.

Yep can't understand why we are so heavy favourites still.

This is a 50/50 game south's won't want a repeat of last week

I will be supporting the boys to the hill even not confident at all.

Manly by 1

The crowd need to roar - influence the ref for plenty of home town decisions. I agree not sure how we are long odds on favourites especially after last week’s insipid display

Here with my son from Brissie for his first ever Brookie trip. Can’t wait, we’re gonna smash them! We’re gonna get there about 2pm for the first game. Should get a good spot on the hill then hey? And golden eagles day today, so the legends will be out! Great timing!

Plenty of room at 2pm.
Enjoy!

Also, Aitken out in the centres replaced by a 2nd rower, something for our speedy centres to exploit I'd say.

Seriously Davo? Our backline annihilates there’s. We are all scarred from years of following this up and down side, but don’t let that blur your judgement. Souths had 50 put on them last week and that was with Latrell playing. We match them in the middle and I think we’ll run up a big score.

Manly by 20 plus and soaring on golden eagle day!!

IMO this Souths team doesn't have the killing mentality to get this one done, but it's a Wayne Bennett side so who knows.

Surprised more hasn't been made of Humphreys returning to Brookvale, I suspect he'll have a blinder. Just don't think the rest of their spine has what it takes, but it's not like DCE has been playing well.

Manly 1-12. We need to do what we did last week, and only play Lodge for 20. I think that might be the new way forward.
