Seriously Davo? Our backline annihilates there’s. We are all scarred from years of following this up and down side, but don’t let that blur your judgement. Souths had 50 put on them last week and that was with Latrell playing. We match them in the middle and I think we’ll run up a big score.

Manly by 20 plus and soaring on golden eagle day!!
Hope you are right
Cheering the boys on all the way
Big crowd hopefully

We needs our forward pack to step up
and win to middle. That way Souths will have to compress their D Line and only then we can shift the ball and take advantage of our far superior backline.
That has gotta be the approach.

As **** as our forwards are they just have to win the middle & if they do we should win.

Lodge ( even though most hate him ) did really well for his almost 20 minute spell last week, if he can replicate that again it’ll be a good start.

Looks like thunder storms scheduled around kick off time so that could turn it into even more of a lottery.

Come on boys, make sure you have your flippers ready.

Raiders and Storm did Manly a favor by keeping the Saints and Cows a bit further away from the 8 but irrespective , pretty much a must win to keep Manly in contention .
Notable Alex Johnston being moved to full back, D C E and Brooks must be on their game to counter the Wighton - Humphreys combo .
Other very handy players in their run on side , .
Plenty of indications it should go Manly 's way and especially if they can be totally positive and switched on for the duration .
No alternative really with the higher stakes in this one

Mentioned this earlier in the week, but I think the Souths side matches up a lot better against us than people think. Yes, they've lost a lot of games in a row, but so had Newcastle and the Titans till we played them back into form. We will have to fight and snap and win the middle, and not go out there and play like we've already won.

I hope we get the win but can easily see this going pear-shaped.

Gotta win the battle first before you run over the enemy lines.

to me the bunnies look stronger all over the park in their team list

All over the park? You think there backline for today is better than ours?

I don't even think the most passionate Souths fan would agree with that.

Well, I wonder which Manly team will turn up today? or not turn up.

Will it be the team they could be, the one with a mindset that we will be defensively good, all wanting the ball to take through the line, the team where each player is there for each other, the team that want's their supporters to be proud of their performance. I once remember this team.

Or will it be the team that turns up be the one who doesn't give a crap, I'll do something on the field when I want to, the team that DCE doesn't want to get involved in. Like the one that's played for the last 3 or 4 game weeks.

We live in hope.

Go Manly!
Cook Bennett's bunnies once and for all.
After the tension-release from last weeks win I expect a confident and committed Sea Eagles, and a strong win 🙂

Unfortunately, all this year , you toss a coin , and whichever side lands up is what it ends up being.

Heads = oh yeah baby we are on fire , it’s at Brookie and we are putting in big time.

Tails = oh yeah baby we got this already , they are no chance so let’s not bust our boilers , we’ve got Tommy back all’s good ( after 20 minutes WHOOPS).

It’s not inconsistency it’s attitude.

Not a fan of Turbo at centre. Love young Lehi but I think they’d be better off swapping positions…Turbo has been sooking with the DCE biz and frustrating injuries and coach and who knows what else.. Hopefully he turns it on today. He is due to click into gear. Forwards need to turn up today on the angry pills and get it done. Manly by plenty if all this happens ..Souths have had a crap year. They seem to suffer a lot with injury. Curious.. on another note. Great to see the Dogs run down. They are such pretenders. This comp is wide open still but realistically there’s only a few who can win it. Can the real Manly stand up today ffs?

Or heaven forbid Seibs could work on mixing our attack up, would be nice to see us aiming some attack through the middle, rather than just turning Burbo in. But you’re right our middles need to do their job, still think as Waz pointed out, our backline has way to much class, South’s should be in for another long afternoon.

Remember that game against Penrith a year or two ago where it was all out attack?
It's like we learnt nothing.

Only 3 home games left after today and a very tough few weeks coming after the bye, no doubt today is must win. Hopefully the result last week gives them some much needed confidence but not ego, we haven’t strung back to back wins together since Rounds 3 and 4.

Weather is nice at the moment, getting mixed signals though. Some weather apps saying it’ll stay nice all day, others saying there’s a chance of lightning and rain at 4! Guess we’ll have to wait and see but hoping for the former.

Lets make our Golden Eagles proud today 🦅🦅🦅
