The Football department must see more upside in Waddell than Chee Kam.
Haven't watched Chee Kam this year but from what I've seen in the past he's a competent player who's racked up 130 NRL games ... but never really made an impression. Hence also 59 reserve grade.
Waddell may be a tad less skilled than Chee Kam but does at least have the attitude of wanting to get involved. Which is a pretty big plus

yep one thing you can be assured with waddell is that he will have a red hot go.

Really should be able to jag this one particularly with the home ground advantage but still would not underestimate Souths .
Languishing on the table but some indications that they have taken it to the better sides this season and just falling short and Manly hardly rated one of the better sides consistently on a regular basis unfortunately to date .
Just noticed highlights of their game against the Dolphins where they seemed to be cut up by some fairly slick and well structured Dolphins attack .
If Manly can maintain that quite solid defensive effort against the Tigers and a bit more clinical and better ball use in attack , chances should be good but a couple of ifs or buts in that hopeful expectation

Could be a good time to see how Talau may go as a loose forward this week if the opportunity presents or is required .
Think that he would have more potential as a 13 , well just how the Manly forward setting is right now but no reason also why he could not just slot into an edge role .
Won "t be on the bigger body size wise to play there in the N R L but Scoupp in the Reggies has had a few games on an edge now apparently and while not at N R L level , maybe Talau and Scoupp at similar body weights
Talau certainly does not lack in aggression or general footy ability so no reason why with a little bit of adaption that he could not slot right into a loose forward role

Many have suggested this might be worth a try ... his injuries have currently put him behind the rest of our back 5, yet most people want him in the team somewhere... this could be his chance!
and if he nails it then it's a big bonus for Manly 🙂

So could Clyde the chimp.

Right turn Clyde.
