If manly win by 40 and bulldogs win by 30, bulldogs go to 4th. Either way the team I most want to play in week one is the cowboys and that is the likely outcome.
If we play bulldogs week one I think they will have learned enough form that last week to make it a really battle.

I dont think the dogs will win another game feathered friend
Their forwards have been exposed and extinguished by our mob
Their no name small pack can only play above their weight for so long

The dogs are done
Dirty dogs
Done

I hope I am wrong but have a bad feeling about Sunday

Its like us have a good win then team floppy comes out to play.

Sharks are full strength and no one is talking them up as a genuine threat.

I just don't see the points in us.

Sharks 28-16
And dogs have a few out tomorrow
So I think it's
Dogs vs Manly accor stadium week 1 finals

The game between the dogs and cows could determine the outcome for the Manly v Sharks game
Sharks could have 4th spot locked in , There intensity could be less knowing they have got that spot
Manly still need to show up and show they are contenders without Turbo
Manly are in control of there own destiny now is the time

Not that I agree with the result, but which team of ours turns up, team Floppy or Manly, is the biggest worry. We have been known to cannibalise ourself.
And scarier, it won't matter if we are ahead by plenty, we wont be safe to the sirens sounds.
In for a nerve racking 80 minutes
GO MANLY

I think the Sharks & coach won't take it easy tomorrow given they lost their last game.

100% Sharks will bring their top game to Brookie if Penrith lose to Titans, as Sharks can finish 3rd with a win over Manly and escape going to Melbourne.

100% Sharks will bring their top game to Brookie if Dogs beat Cows. There's 60 points spread between Sharks and Dogs on for/against. A Dogs win and a Sharks loss that covers the 60 points puts Sharks into 5th. For example, a Dogs win by 10 and Manly win by 50 would put the Sharks into trouble.

If Cows beat Dogs, even with a loss to Manly, the Sharks will hold 4th place as the Cows-Sharks points spread is around 150 points.

So, if you're hoping the Sharks will vs Manly rest their players or take it a little easy, you'd be cheering for Cows to beat Dogs and then for Penrith to beat Titans.

BUT, if Cows do beat Dogs, and Manly lose to Sharks, then Manly will have to go to Townsville next week.

[If there are any draws then obviously ignore the above!]

And your reasoning is why I think sharks at full strength might just be a bit too strong for us tomorrow specially if there is a chance they can avoid a trip to Melbourne week 1.

Unlike the last game I’m really confident
Me the complete opposite
We had a point to prove against the dogs
Sharks full strength us down 2 main players
Sharks playing maybe to avoid playing storm week 1 finals
Just not as confident as some on here.

A big thank you to the Manly members and fans from Seibs for their great support

Whatever else people think about seibold, it is a plus as a fan to hear him explain the reasons behind some decisions. Such as Koula at fullback instead of Lehi, and why Clayton gets a run.
Can't recall Des ever providing this sort of info! But it's interesting to hear it.

With Nico back in the Sharks line up I can see it unsettling things a little for them.
The Sharks have been playing pretty well without him running very direct through the middle. Nico will want his hands on the ball especially leading into the finals. Effectively taking opportunities away from Brailey at hooker where they have been dangerous.

Not that I want to rely on them playing poorly but I think this will affect their style of play.

We really need to win the ruck in this contest to nullify their strengths.

We are in for a belter of a game!

The biggest way Seibs can Thank Manly members and fans is getting our Manly team up for long awaited Grand final win

Winning is.... THE MANLY WAY
Lets us live up to it
Give my regards to Seibs @The Wheel

My reasoning

1) it’s at home
2) the Gummies poor record at Brookvale
3) the players know what a home final will mean ( almost like a second chance )

But I agree about being down two players , however for all the anti Seibold people on here I think he’s done an outstanding job at the “ next man up “ scenario so I’m confident that Koula / Hoppa Jnr Jnr Jnr will handle that role and I’m expecting them to be switching constantly.

And whilst no superstar , Clayton F has handled the step up a few times and has done a job.
