Would have been ecstatic if we went in at 12-6 but I'm happy enough at 18-6. Some great effort out there, especially from Harper, Bullemore, and Paseka. Good to see Des using his bench as well, knowing fitness will be an issue. And, as others have said earlier on, the jerseys look ****ing great!

The Back Rowers have been great tonight.Prefer to see Bullemor in the middle but he’s giving Sam Walker a headache out on the edge

Andrew Davey has been one of our most consistent players all year and just a great bloke to have in the squad. He’ll be a real loss for 2023.

Overall we are going better than I thought.

Paseka & Bullemor are going really well.

The boys are having a real dig.

The negatives
Garrick is having a shocker , he’s been great all year but chose tonight to play like ****.

The ref is a real prick , there’s two sets of rules being played.

We won’t win this one but they’ll make us proud.

I think the situation has got Garrick over playing his hand,can’t be too hard on him as he’s busting his ass,except for not taking the kick off

Mate, after the week these players have had, I'm already proud. Everybody has been worrying about the welfare of the seven holdouts, but no one has spared a thought for the ones they left behind. Could not have been easy for them coming to grips with what happened either.

18-6 at halftime and we don’t look out of depth. We just need to cut out some silly mistakes, get some rub of the green from the ref we will be ok in second half.

We need to put Segeyaro on soon after halftime as he could be the game breaker.

How is his defence though. Crocker really works hard in the middle and the roosters really like to play through that middle third and around the ruck.

I guess if we have can control the possession it will help our players fatiguing

Probably one of the strongest Roosters team they’ve had on the field this year and likely one of the most inexperienced sides we’ve put on in recent memory.

Yes we’re getting stripped on the right edge defensively but bloody hell they’re having a huge crack.

I want to make mention of Morgan Harper. Yes he missed a tackle in the lead up to the Manu try, but his energy defensively is really admirable. I love him looking to put shots on the likes of JWH etc.

I think you’re right, it might be worth hooking seci and putting a back rower in the centres, move a centre to wing.
