I love how some people are so quick to throw in the Nazi comparison when it is in no way comparable.

The people who claim their views represent a quiet majority are usually the loudest when it comes to promoting favor of their cause which more often than not is of benefit for the few, not the many.

If someone wants to put an identity to a bigoted or otherwise factually incorrect belief, then allow them as it would be hypocritical to deny them their speech. In say that, it does not mean there are not consequences for the words we choose.

If you're principled enough in your belief to publicly identify yourself in such a way... by all means go ahead for visibility sake, so we know who not to turn to for reasonable opinions.

The point isn't some kind of equality with nazism, it's an argument ad absurdum to point out how you can't just write off a symbol by dismissing it as if how it looks is all it is.
