I'm so pleased with how our pack has played the past 2 weeks, we have monstered packs that on paper are much better than ours. Our bench has been huge too. Brown and Brooks both pressing their cases for buy of the season.

It was a great win. Our left side defence in the first half was awful but better in the second half. Even though DCE and Turbo played below their best we won . Good signs for the year ahead.

Great win. Couple of points

Aloai was very good

Brown adds a lot

Jake gives away too many penalties

Still not convinced of Garrick at centre or Paulo on the wing

Brookes is a great foil.

Ola was massive, unlucky not to get a try

I hate the turbo hit up on the fourth.

It limits all other options and I don’t see any discernible advantage, it’s stupid and needs to go

Waddell needs to learn to play the ball

If croker isn’t playing 80 he needs to be a lot crisper than that. There was some shocking passes.

Fantastic to win a game in the middle with grit and intent. Yes, the edge defence still needs work, and yes, we should have scored more points, but we really worked for that and really deserved the win. And Jake was quietly phenomenal.

The level of scrutiny Sutton must have applied to Ola's try was incredible. You'd applaud it if it was the consistent process every time (much like forward passes).

Imagine if he applied the same scrutiny to that saved try where Teddy collected Talau with a knee to the head! Crickets!

Agree but some of today had to do with the Roosters defence. They don’t crumble on edges like a lot of other teams. If we’d play the Tigers today, we’d have put on 60. The Roosters are a team that always scrap and save tries or find a way to disrupt your rhythm in attack.
