Terrible news and definitely not what we need.....! I am also concerned that Kapow may not be completely fit, rib injuries generally take a lot longer to heal than just under two weeks.

Anyway, hope Lussick has a speedy recovery.

If Winterstein,Kelly and Green combine in defence like last week it will be a cricket score. Feel sorry for Kelly. Fantastic young player but must be having head spins about what is happening inside him.Fix that and we will be very competitive.

Canberra by 6 to 10 mainly because of an ineffective bench,due to both personnel and the way it is used. Hope Hastings gets a chance at 9 while we are in the hunt but I'm not holding my breath.Real shame Perrett doesn't get a chance to add to his effort last week.

I think tonite will give us a pretty fair gauge on the influence and ability of our coach tbh. After a thumping from the Dragons and then an abysmal first half against the storm we're treading water atm and a few more losses and we're probs goneskis for a top 8 show this year. Remember there have been periods when our goal line defence and defence generally in our 'red zone?' has been excellent - good line speed, lots of talk/communication etc and commitment. So we have shown we have the ability is what I'm saying. I know our opposition is extremely talented and they'll be buoyed playing at home but man the next few games are so critical for us. I want our boys fired up with an ambush mentality..I want aggression, lots of positive body language and HEAPS of talk out there ffs... I do not want to hear 'Can't fault the effort' in the press conference... If we can't get up for this one God help us.. And remember too recruitment wise, we simply can't afford to get pumped often this yr. Noone will want to come to a club divided, a rookie coach struggling for answers and a team nonchalant about mediocrity. It's time to step up.

19 man squad is not cut down until 1 hours before kick off when the 17 is named.

Right now we still have Myles, Jono Wright and Lane and have lost Lussick and Cullen

Thought you'd like to know I again have limited internet ( amazes me today how far the Telstra reach is) and the Sat Dish is up and working so I'm " locked and loaded " for tonight's game.

Current location, Lara Wetland, 30 Kms south of Barcaldine.

No fishing here, just rest and recuperation from the dusty roads for a few days!!
