That left side for Canberra are a disgrace and add tapine to that list. I'm a kiwi and embarrassed by how those crumbs conduct themselves. Rapana has fully bought into the hype around him kicking and carrying on like a muppet every time he gets tackled. That leulua looks like he's intellectually impaired and has always been a dirty sod. Was blowing up at that pair all night. That may be the most satisfying win in the last 3 years. My 6 year old was literally flapping his arms like an eagle around the house after that won just going berserk. Go manly!!!!!!
Your kid is not alone - my neighbours all know that a Manly game was on tonight :giggle:

My Flag was at the ready for a well deserved win - Maaanly!

Flame the MOFO's I knew we would go close, but to win was unbelievable. Defence was the key, something @Ryan does not quite understand. It was the first time I seen a game plan from Trentsta!

I don't think it's Trent's gameplan that has let us down in games wombat at home. I think it's lapses in defense (mainly), and sometimes poor discipline. I know everyone is carping on our right side defense, but I think both our flanks have improved exponentially (even since Dessies days - remember Wolfy always charging in).

I've always said through my ups and downs, the quality is there. It's the ability to play for 80 minutes consistently.

What an awesome ****ing performance from the boys!

Fonua-Blake - 16 runs/ 171m

Taupau - 17 runs/171m

J.Trbojevic - 20 runs/171m + 32tackles

Myles - 10runs for 138m

Winterstein - 121m

The whole team was overly impressive. So many standouts.

Lewis Brown a try assist. WTF?

My nerves are shattered for now, but looking forward to some Rabbit stew next Friday and some major payback from round 2.
See what happens when our forwards rip in. Fuk me why can't they do it at home. Get us the meters and the backs can do some damage. I love Uate. He's giving every hitup a 100%

I have been seeing a game plan or more correctly a playing pattern since week 2. But it takes months not weeks to become ingrained and effective. This team is building but there will be more ups and downs to come. Go Manly.

Love his passion, he just needs to channel it in the right direction.

That's the thing, eh. His passion is infectious. We are at our best, when we look like we are having heaps of fun.

Sidenote - was Sironen hooked tonight? He's been playing 80 hasn't he?

Interesting.

I think he got injured - in fact he has been carrying an injury for a while.

Our forward ranks without Darcy, Brainbridge and the Resting One are a worry

Hope Darcy is back soon. Getting really conflicting reports from websites and things. Some say next week...some say 4 weeks or something !!

Yes you are right, experience is consistency and experience takes time, however, we have showed once again that we can be one of the best sides in the comp if we want to and are prepared to, can't and won't get over this win for some time

OUTSTANDING & thanku boyz, hold your heads up high..
u have just won a big game against a hot team with big forwards.
u beat them across the park and the defence was a major improvement from last week.
tonight u showed that we will not be a walk over, we can match it with any team.
something great will come out of wins like that, the boyz will gel even more and the taste of that win will get them home in future tight games.
Thanks to the refs for not costing us that game also.
