DCE was sitting in the cage along side some crutches. But at fulltime he walked back into the changerooms unassisted. Just with a huge ice bag on the ankle.

The people who complain about refs penalty count 13-5 our way in the second half 8-2 our way. To our fans we complain we want Sunday afternoon games for crowd and today on a perfect afternoon we dish up a crowd of 10, 706 not good enough.

WOW! Just superb. The fellas really proved that they are not a one, two or even three man team today. No Turbo, no AFB, no DCE, NO WORRIES. That was a superb win and one that will really galvanise this group. Outstanding leadership by JT and Marty when we needed it. A real team win.

That game also came to my mind but for another reason. Gift gave Souths a 14 point head start in that game before the boys rallied to deliver one of our finest wins. Similar to today where Croker gave them a 12 point head start and we came back
