Turbo trying super hard and showing glimpses... but timing for the team as a whole is just still off and making it hard for ourselves. I thought we started reasonably solid with just getting the basics right and getting into the grind... however, it started to drop off as the game went on. Some good defensive resilience outside of that one soft try they let in.

We’re walking into the line again. Tom is the only one hitting it up hard. Aloia also was good. Others need to pull your god damn fingers out and RUN HARD!!!

If we had a few more stronger charges and some quick play the balls would really open Canberra up

Loved that really fast play-the-ball by Paseka , that Croker had a run from. We literally made 30 odd metres in this runs.

See what lightning play-the-balls do?

Why can't we replicate that ?

Can Aloai play 80? Serious question? Marty and Paseka just seem to amble to the line. That said we look a lot better than the first 3 weeks. Could open them up in the 2nd. Liking Koulas work. Harper has been better today too. That last run from Tom looked like the first time he’s put a sprint in all year - just exploded.

paseka again huge frame but just so slow and no aggression at all he could be anything.

again we waste so many opportunities in the 20 Just dumb play.

if we play smart and actually take our chances in the 20 raiders are there to be beat.

Seriously I don't know what it is with these forwards and just jog up to the defense line off kicks. Paseka ran straight through the titans last year off a kick off because he charged at them. Cmon boys show some mongrel and put some fear into the opposition.

Because they are used to playing Vlandys touch footy. Game has changed now (again). No team has scored 40pts yet and we are half way through rd 4. Refs have put the whistle away re 6agains. Josh clearly goes through the line and looks to get to his stomach.

He is a quality defender. On of the the trial games he made 10 tackles with no miss tackles. He looks every bit a 1st grader
