Have struggled to get into the season so far, but quite looking forward to this one, Tom normally carves the raiders up so hopefully that will be the case again

Hopefully Foran/Tom can give Koula the space that Parker always receives and we get to see what he has about him

Ha that’s funny Kiwi I’ve felt the same tbh re getting into the season. Not sure what it is but the losses haven't bothered me at all really. I was blowing up during the Dogs game at points tho so maybe I’m easing into it - a lot like the team really!

Looking forward to a dry track today and better showing. Think we will get the raiders today and hoping Tom gets back to his best. Starts in the middle. We need to dominate their pack.

I saw the draw for the first 2 weeks, saw 2 losses imminent and battled for enthusiasm lol. Then saw the conditions last week and know how average we can be in the wet and it was a dour 80mins, like you I must have gotten into it more as the wife was giving me filthy looks when I was abusing some of our play

Like you said a dry track today will make a big difference

Yes and I expect we'll take advantage.

We'd better because historically Manly doesn't prosper in the wet, and the forecast this year isn't great.

Above median rainfall is likely for northern and eastern Australia between April and June, and Australia is in its second consecutive La Niña year and a third isn't out of the question.

If we add that to the mysterious disappearance of the 6-again and it's suddenly a whole new ball game. Especially for Manly who have always loved to play attractive footy, and never more so than last year.

Based upon what I’ve seen on Twitter this morning it should be dry and fast

so do we still have the opportunity of swapping a player into the 17 now or is that now locked in? I am not sure when the cut off point is? I was still hoping Aloiai in for someone - maybe Bullemor

Can "t see any reason why koula will have any issues acquitting himself and if he can even get some half break opportunities on Foz " side or working off Turbo , could do real well . Defence seems quite good enough . Have to also at least match the Raiders pack , Walker can hopefully do well again and cause the mid field Raiders defence some problems . Dry track such a better proposition , no guarantee of a win but much more conductive to Manly 's better playing style but again need the middle to hold together for the full 80 and lay the platform . Not such an unreasonable suggestion if Tippy Toes was the other centre , unlikely in a fairly crucial game and maybe unproven in a couple of areas but sure is a strong attacker and must have a bit of toe .
