Game Day: Manly v Parramatta [Round 2, 2018]

I thought Matt Checcin had a good game. I took an instant dislike to him several years ago when he penalised Orford for competing for the ball up in Townsville but I rate him these days. He seems impartial and that's all you can ask. He's light years ahead of blokes like Perenara.

It was a decent improvement on last game. However, there were still a number of discipline issues, in that first half particularly. We had played them out of gas though, so never really suffered from them. It is something I hope Baz continues to focus on and improve through the year because we will be a hell of a team once we learn to master and control that part of our game
In the first half the King injury gave eels energy back again, yet manly held onto and turned around momentum as soon as they could. Then after the break, eels had their energy again, yet after 10 long minutes at our line couldn't score.

Impressive stuff from manly, although i do agree that we can always improve

The wife and I are dancing through about the 4th repeat of ‘Eagle Rock’.

Irts great to have a wife who loves her league and follows the ‘Eagles - despite being a Canberra girl.
Good luck tonight Terence, I hope you get to score yourself. Watching the replay of that massacre whilst in a post coital embrace would indeed be a great day for you my friend. 🙂

That was massive, yet I still see plenty of upside. Phenomenal performance.

That game was always going to be won in the first 15 minutes in that heat. And we controlled it with style.

I expect a thumbs up from Trent for ST for guiding him on the best 17. That was the team 100%. Well done ST pundits.

Onward and upward from here, although we have probably smashed the radar to smithereens.
