It was a decent improvement on last game. However, there were still a number of discipline issues, in that first half particularly. We had played them out of gas though, so never really suffered from them. It is something I hope Baz continues to focus on and improve through the year because we will be a hell of a team once we learn to master and control that part of our game

For sure HK, this is the first game I have seen from us that has kept the mistakes down to a minimum in a good while. I agree the first half was a tad ill disciplined but we did amend most of that in the second half.We defended great and backed up well too.I honestly did not think the score would be what it is.I think baz was a little surprised too up in the box.But hats off to us today.

Got to say, all those doubting young Brian and worrying about Lachie(the Frog) Croker; they both went OK, or better today, have a little faith and give these boys a chance.

At one stage manly had croker, dce, api and Hastings out there. They all had turns at dummy half, 1st and 2nd receiver, shoveling it to the props who offloaded back to one or other of the 4 hooker/halves. Good coaching and tactics on a hot day.
