He was a great defender earlier in his career.

Agreed. But wtf did we buy him? It was so obvious that he was done. When I was going on about what a dud signing he’d be, I got fed the “he’s a controlling half and he won a SOO” bullsh1t lines. He was finished last season and we sign him up for next year as well. Crazy.
