Foz's stats are a revelation. 6 tackles and 51 meters :s

The forwards are being singled out, but Foz and Snake had below par games :dodgy: #crisis

King, Taufua charged by MRC

Mon 25th August, 02:31PM

Sea Eagles pair Jason King and Jorge Taufua have been charged by the NRL's match review committee following the sides loss to Parramatta on Friday night.

King was put on report for a high tackle against Tepai Moeroa in the 42nd and has since been charged with a Grade Two - Careless which has a base penalty of 125 points.

As he has had a prior but non-similar offence in the past two season, a 20% loading has been placed on the charge meaning even with the Early Plea, the stalwart is likely to miss the final home game of the season on Sunday unless he is successful in having the charge down-graded at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, winger Jorge Taufua has been hit with a Grade 1 Dangeours Contact charge for making contact with Will Hopoate in the 56th minute with his foot while trying to stop the former Sea Eagle from crossing the line.

The Early Plea would make Taufua available for the match this weekend.

The Club has until Midday tomorrow to enter pleas for both.

I didn't think that Jorge connected with anything but the ball

Kingy was hurt anyway, so sitting out Sunday was probably already on the cards

G'day all,Has Hayne been charged for his headbutt on Killer? If not why hasn't there been a back page photo in the tele of point of impact? You there Phil, why aren't you on it?
cheers mike

Hayne's the golden boy in the media right now. The NRL won't want him missing from any games or receive too much negative attention.

Seriously, if Kingy and Jorge's indiscretions are charge worthy, then Hayne's should bloody well be too. One day he's going to cause someone an injury that may have been avoidable if the MRC had any integrity.
