The Sea Eagles endured a tough night with Jake Trbojevic (concussion), Nathan Brown (shoulder) and Ethan Bullemor (knee) all suffering injuries.

Trbojevic was ruled a Category 1 head knock and will miss the Round 8 clash against the Panthers.

Adding to Manly's woes is hooker Lachlan Croker who faces another month on the sideline after having another cleanout of his knee this week.

So many dissapointing things about this game and last week, but one that really hurts is the opposition in both games were playing poorly, they were there for the taking and despite being abysmal we still could have won both games we only had step up a tiny % to get the win, yet we found it to be a mountain to high, a bridge to far, we just couldn't do it.

That is the biggest slap for me.

For what its worth, and whilst I'm not a supporter of Manly I do follow them closely and watch all the games being a local the last 2 match ups were no walk in the walk, infact i quote Gus Goulds common phrase "They didn't lose they ran out of time"
The Eagles were unlucky they didn't get away with it in the end last night, because the Dragons stats weren't great by any means. Personally I dont think Seibold is the right man for the job, but now one thing that is evident is Cherry Evans needs to announce his plans so the team can move on, i would bet my last dollar it has affected the team behind the scenes

In an 80 minute game on our home ground we had time to win the game but we did not make the most of our time .

Having both Paseka and Ailoi out has really exposed our forwards for what they are. Olacalatu can't carry the forwards all by himself, he's taking on more workload and this will only lead to a serious injury that we can't afford. Hate to say it, but how long before Lodge is available.

Lehi had an awsome game, but we are so reliant on Tommy in attack and what he gives us from fullback. Forget 5/8 or centre he's an out and out fullback, rd 9 can't come fast enough.

If we didn't play so diabolical, particularly the first last night and the first 30 last week, we wouldn't have had to really on luck nor time.
Let's face it the opposition was cr@p but we were worse, no sugar coating that.

As for DCE I somewhat agree but I also think there's more to it than him just clocking off or the team responding, I think he is carry an I jury from the back spasms and its effecting his game physically and mentally.

No premiership till Penn Dce Tom and Jake go it’s simply not going to happen..and it doesn’t stop at those 4..the whole club needs rebuilding from top to bottom
