Yep, when it comes down to it, rugby league is a simple game played by simple men.

The reason Brain To'o made us look like clowns last week (apart from him being one excellent player) is that he wanted to bust tackles more than any of our blokes wanted to tackle to him. Our defence has been abysmal, and that has to change very quickly.

Amazing to think that 40 years ago To'o would have probably been a Kiwi test player and would never have gotten the chance to play Origin. Now he plays for both NSW and Samoa.

Times definitely change.

And yes, our defence can be abysmal at times. Hopefully not this afternoon.
