To be fair out of the games he played last season he looked ok in the middle Waddell, if they can get 5 or 6 games out of him where he plays on par or above that will be good.

Sipley I don’t think worked on his weaknesses from what I seen in the trials, could have stripped a few kgs to be a bit more mobile which would help his defence, attacking wise he is good.

I've always been a fan of Sips and just when I think he's delivering on the early promise, something goes amiss. I think he's a good character to have around the team as well. I hope (again) this is his year.

Aloiai and Brown still out. Waddell and Sipley in. Aloiai in reserves. Tevaga starting hooker, with Simpkin on bench... Not liking this, but I suppose injuries force these changes.

Aloiai will probably play I think.

I think you're probably right about Aloiai playing...surely, after an outstanding off-season apparently.

Very strange Brown not named anywhere. I would've thought a fired up BFB at a fullhouse Brookie in round 1 was a certainty, so he must be injured.

I'm thinking Browny has a niggle. Didn't get many minutes against the riff. I thought saving him for this week. Duck played an entire game. So.

In saying that. Duck is little more mobile with a bit more leg speed. A little more composed.

The Duck it could be argued may be a better fit whilst Jazz is playing 9 for instance.

A fresh Browny will be keen to tear someone apart soon enough.

No Brown, Aloiai named in reserves... Surely both are injured. I don't think we are seeing out strongest possible 17 here.

I'm keen to see how Tevaga goes at 9. He surely must be better than Croker.

I shouldn't ask BUT ....... @BOZO just out of interest why do you constantly bag Seibold? Sure we haven't won a premiership with him yet but he's improving us. It's more than we can say of other recent coaches ..... Trent Barrett WTF was Penn thinking? In your fantasy world we should be winning the comp every year but meanwhile in the real world no one was beating Storm or Panthers last year. No one. They were both so far ahead of other teams it was them and then daylight second.

Unfortunately Bozo has become very negative, I like the fella but honestly he's got to get over that Hasler isn't with us anymore, I don't come on here as often as I once did because I'm tired of all the whinging and negativity, once we used to have robust conversation about the team now all I seem to read is Spoonbold and similar crap, to me that's not supporting Manly it's nothing more than tearing Manly down and I'd rather not involve myself

Waddell , Sipley on bench, TKO starting. That is not a top 4 pack. Brown looked unfit in trials , Aloiai at #22. Looks like some have been holidaying too much. No confidence in our forwards. Cows by 10.

How good is having some depth.

A coach still has to let it be his friend and use it. Many coaches don't.

I Love that if AOA is under done, he doesn't just get to find fitness in firsts.

And in all seriousness, you can't say it's a stronger or weaker team one way or the other.

Even it was, the comps a long game.

Thing with depth, it's just like competition you have to build it.
