Round one Premiers Under Seibold
Congratulations
Lets give him another 3 year extension
I shouldn't ask BUT ....... @BOZO just out of interest why do you constantly bag Seibold? Sure we haven't won a premiership with him yet but he's improving us. It's more than we can say of other recent coaches ..... Trent Barrett WTF was Penn thinking? In your fantasy world we should be winning the comp every year but meanwhile in the real world no one was beating Storm or Panthers last year. No one. They were both so far ahead of other teams it was them and then daylight second.

MANLY HIT WITH FURTHER INJURIES

—Dean Ritchie

Manly’s Tommy Talau has hamstring tightness and will be ruled out of the club’s round one game against North Queensland.

Talau’s injury comes after he recovered from an ankle injury.

Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold revealed Lehi Hopoate and Jason Saab will be chosen as round one wingers when the team is announced this Tuesday afternoon.

Saab has endured a difficult off-season after sustaining a syndesmosis injury late last season.

He will definitely be named but will be required to complete a fitness session to play.

Raymond Tuaimalo-Vaega and Clayton Faulalo would be wing candidates should Saab be ruled out.

Saab, who underwent two off-season operations on his injured ankle, has been back in full training for the past two weeks.

Talau’s injury isn’t serious – no tear was detected – and Seibold hopes he may be available for round two.

Manly hooker Lachlan Croker will miss the opening three rounds with a knee injury.

Seibold has three replacement dummy options – Jazz Tevaga, Jake Simpkin and Gordon Chan Kum Tong.

Two of those three will be named to face the Cowboys at 4 Pines Park.

He was sneaky quick.

I remember years ago I was out in one of the night clubs in Manly and Jamie was there with his partner. I was standing in close proximity to them both as it was shoulder to shoulder rammed. Jamie then grabbed my hand thinking it was his partners and I thought to myself “what the hell is Jamie Lyon doing with my hand?” Once he noticed the finger lock wasn’t with who he thought it was we both laughed it off and we went our separate ways.
Oh the memories….

Well, wouldn't you know it, an injury to our backline. All the hullabaloo about who's going to miss out. What were we worried about.

Why use the word 'girl' to denigrate?
You're right. It is nothing but pure unvarnished sexism to label a men's football team as female to besmirch their football ability.

To prove it, I say we allow NRLW teams into the men's comp. Since women are equal to men in every way, including physicality and footballing ability, I'm sure it will be fine.
