Game Day: Manly v Bulldogs [Round 4, 2017]

Really pleased Hastings has got into the 17. I watched last weeks game a couple of times (as u do when we win lol) and he impressed me with his talk and organisation. He makes Cherry and Green look like church mice ironically which is great to see from a newbie in the squad. He was busy and always backing up the big guys in the middle too which is something we've also lacked imo. He adds an extra piece to the attack puzzle, he plays up tempo footy and he has skill. The kids a genuine footballer and long term i predict he will be our 5/8 and a bloody good one. Could prove to be a very very astute purchase. Have a great game today Jackson!

Positive individual arent you - thanks for the contribution
Sorry, am i supposed to say manly by 100 and ignore the teams form over the last 2 years then??
Or ignore the fact we struggle against the dogs every single match weve played them since des has taken over their coaching??
Or ignore the fact that the after every single loss the excuses and the sky is falling crew emerge??
Nah. Sorry..

Dogs will overpower us. Plus Turdy's theme of the day which is Dogs penalty everytime they drop it will ensure Dogs by 8.
it's a wet track out there today have faith in your eagles. Gee up you pelican lol we can win this easy. As long as brown never offloads and just holds the ball if we defend like last week the dogs ha e got nothing. The standard try against Taufua and a lucky try from broken play is all they should score. we should get them by 8 Imo given we don't keep dropping the ball. have faith padewon the force is strong with manly

How is toddy going to screw us today

Can see it now, ref decision at a crucial time going to hurt us

Toddy is going to everything he can to see his beloved dogs get up today

Lane playing reserves today
Hastings is playing 1st grade today
Jono Wright not named in reserves, is he injuries at the moment ?

So our bench for 1st grade
Hastings
Brown
Myles
AFB

Just watch the match of u/20's they lost 30-22. Played like 1st grade dropped way too much ball and gave away silly penalties. They should of won that match
why have both hastings and brown.. lane is bigger and stronger and would have a point too prove! He looks very fast and has some skill. oh well let's see what happens go manly

Just on the Blacktown vs Bulldogs broadcast then, it was stated that Jamil Hoppa would be playing first grade had the ban been finished. Not sure if an opinion or fact, wonder who'd drop out, hopefully brown

I love having the three games at Brookie back to back, but geez after all the rain we've had the pitch is looking a bit suss. Sand and divets all over the place. Surprised they went ahead with all three actually.

Well I think Lazy lethargic Lanky Lane has justified his position in reggies. Another carefree performance like that and Pat Weisner will be sending him back to Baz with a note saying no thanks.

Lane looks like he'd be good in the NFL because he could get by only playing offence.

Well they're building a solid foundation in the minor grades aren't they....😕😕😡@
