Hate to say it, but Turbo has been off by a few degrees today. Still damaging, but he is the barometer for the team, IMO

Doggie some how managed 2 try savers on him when he would normally had scored I think.
Doggies playing for contracts as well.

Kicking game has been ordinary apart from a couple of forced drop outs. Not finding the grass very often. Foran playing well and seems up for it, nice ball to put DCE in space. We need to roll the sleeves up and do the basics before we get fancy. We’ll still win this but let’s lift the intensity and get some line speed in defence. Play like a top four side please. Attack clunky as hell because we aren’t owning the middle yet.

I just don't think Melbourne did. I thought Parra were back to the way they played early on when they were top of the league. They weren't Canterbury bad.

We have off games against The Dogs, Knights (when they were struggling) and other poor teams.

Have to minimise those, because with is, we have ALL the talent. We just really drop in effort and intensity in games. As a one off, fine, but not 3-4 in a season.

That's the diff.

We definitely played that half in second gear. If we play to even 60% of our capacity in the second we'll beat them comfortably.

This game looks like a re-run of the Raiders game, too many errors in 1st half (7).

Expect a better controlled effort in the 2nd half and the wind behind us.

Oh I'm confident we'll win, but that was a poor half of footy by us. Like really poor against a team that's won twice in 24 games

Without doubt we have been ordinary but I'm not a crisis or conspiracy merchant like some here. We are only down by 2 points at half time.

Also, top teams have off games all the time... but it doesn't matter as long as they win. Melbourne only beat the Cowboys by 4 points earlier this year and they aren't that much further up the ladder than the Bulldogs.

I think we will win this match and we don't deserve to be Top 4 if we don't.

Yeah, I think both our wingers are showing signs of being mentally put off a bit too easily.
