Team Lists

To continue my previous post... this week, for some reason, I had imagined may be the week we see something different. The coach demonstrating he understands we are not up to standard and making a point to signal that. There are many ways he could have done that, such as dropping established players to reserve, bringing in fresh faces like Patolo, Hugo, etc. Something... even dropping DCE as captain. But there is nothing. Absolutely nothing to signify change or progress. I cannot remember the last time I felt so deflated after a TLT. I'm clearly too invested in this team as it's starting to effect my mood, which is not healthy.

Seibold has now hit the frozen in terror stage. You could see it in the press conference last week. No more proud of the boys or we won the 17th minute positive reaches. Just blank, devoid of ideas.

A confident coach would have really shaken things up this week but not this twit, keeps Waddell and names Navale at 22. Defence might win premierships, but defensive selections when on the slide, does not win games. Important games.

I'm just hoping this means there's a clause in his contract which allows us to be rid of him. At this point, Hales would do a better job.
Great post, spot on. Frozen in fear and out of ideas. Very well put.

Seeing a lot of negativity in here, and fair enough because we clearly aren’t in a great spot currently. But I don’t think the team list is horrible, it’s just an effort thing to me. Turn up with some intensity in our runs not jogging and trying to do little side steps that nobody falls for in the middle of the field, and defend like we actually care about not losing 4 in a row at home and I actually think we can win. Let’s not forget they have been playing below their standards as well recently.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think we’re winning this, but I don’t think it’ll be as bad as people are making it out to be.

I stand corrected feathered friend
Given the latest players out we are not betting favourites any more
Given the way the Broncos surrendered their last three games I Give our selves a chance at home provided our coach can make a few positional changes , player attitude changes and Tweek his game plan as well .

South Sydney recently beat the underperforming Broncos without their Inspirational Captain Murray , Chief play maker Walker , without their starting hooker and two back rowers in Jai Arrow and Keaon Koloamatangi playing prop . Other players not playing in their Patched up team were the flying winger Johson and star recruit Jack Wighton
The Broncos Have Proven to be beatable, and I believe we have chance .
So we can put the white flag away and Raise our Maroon and White Victorious flag on Saturday
1. Latrell Mitchell
2. Bayleigh Bentley-Hape
3. Isaiah Tass
4. Campbell Graham
5. Fletcher Myers
6. Jayden Sullivan
7. Jamie Humphreys
8. Jai Arrow
9. Siliva Havili
10. Keaon Koloamatangi
11. Euan Aitken
12. Tallis Duncan
13. Lachlan Hubner
14. Jye Gray
15. Sean Keppie
16. Davvy Moale
17. Liam Le Blanc
1. Selwyn Cobbo
2. Deine Mariner
3. Kotoni Staggs
4. Gehamat Shibasaki
5. Jesse Arthars
6. Ben Hunt
7. Adam Reynolds
8. Patrick Carrigan

Tweek his game plan? He only has one and it's been running since he got to Brookvale....Every game is like DeJa'Vu all over again and again and again

Based on the team that has been named this week it looks like Tommy and half the pack were playing busted last week, it makes the loss more understandable but also begs the question as to why they took the field at all!

True.

The donkeys are a rabble. I highly doubt Hass will back up given he’s carrying an injury into origin. Walsh not back yet I’m hearing. There attack is as bad as ours. Zero shape or structure with cobbo at 1. Add to that none of them other than Reno has played at Brookie you can see how we are favourites. Brookie not the easiest place to play at at the best of times. Harder still if you’ve not experienced it.

That said none of the above guarantees us a win.

Worst pack he's ever seen in Manly colours ,according to Zorba in 54 years with the club. Hard to disagree
He’s right
It’s Gary Winter and co all over again

Look at all the good teams , mobile fast forwards with impact off bench and a good hooker .. then look at ours

The Melbourne game a few weeks ago lit our deficiencies up in lights .. a two year old can see the way the games is going .

The sad thing is our halves and outside back potential looks good … yet thdy will be playing behind plodders under the current coaching regime

I would bet my house Jake is resigned on a still hefty contract , Tom will re-sign minus maybe 200k and our so called “best “ ,blokes like Burbot, Paseka and Aloia will still be around in 2027 with people pretending they can all be in a premiership winning pack

How many games do we have to watch to realise that Siebold does not buy into the modern view that young mobile aggressive packs win comps. He does not believe that

Name any coach that would be happy to rotate Sipley, TKO , Aloia , Tevaga ,Jake , Bully, Lodge , Waddell and Brown in the middle for two years and at the same time say “ we are a top 4 side “ in a “ premiership window “
There is no indication whatsoever that this big slow middles policy is going to be discarded - As hard as it might be to take Siebold GENUINELY believes that slow big bodies is the way. And the cream on top is we haven’t had a hooker in five years to stop these lugs getting picked off like wood ducks in the ruck

Slow , immobile and no guile at 9

Perfect
