From the 'NRL Casualty Ward - All the Latest Injury News, Updates & Returns Details' web page, Here is the Latest NRL Injured or Unavailable Update:

* * * (Updated: Tuesday, 02 May 2023) * * *

The Sea Eagles will be without influential forward Jake Trbojevic for up to a month in a blow to his State of Origin hopes after suffering a calf injury.

Trbojevic was left out of the Sea Eagles squad on Tuesday with the NSW prop hoping to get back within the next month leading into Origin I on May 31.

The club said in their latest injury report that Trbojevic's injury was a Grade 2 strain, leaving his Origin chances for the series opener up in the air.

In better news, Tom Trbojevic has been named for the Sea Eagles as he pushes to get back from a groin complaint, along with Brad Parker and Tolu Koula, who are on track to return early from knee injuries.

Manly Sea Eagles
  • Tom Trbojevic (Groin, Round 10)
  • Tolutau Koula (Knee, Round 10)
  • Brad Parker (Knee, Round 10)
  • Ben Trbojevic (Hamstring, Round 10)
  • Josh Schuster (Quad, Round 11-12)
  • Toafofoa Sipley (Suspension, Round 13)
  • Jake Trbojevic (Calf, Round 14)

Also, from the NRL Casualty Ward, Manly hub page, there are slight variations to the information regarding the unavailable or injured players and their return periods:

  • Tolutau Koula (Knee, Round 10)
  • Brad Parker (Knee, Round 10)
  • Ben Trbojevic (Hamstring, Round 10)
  • Tom Trbojevic (Groin, Round 9)
  • Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega (Suspension, Round 10)
  • Toafofoa Sipley (Suspension, Round 13)
  • Jake Trbojevic (Calf, Round 14)
  • Josh Schuster (Quad, Indefinite)

Missing from both of those lists is Morgan Harper, who according to the Round 10 Sea Eagles Injury Report, suffered a left adductor injury last week. He is expected to be available for selection against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in round 11 at 4 Pines Park.

At this stage and after the sacking they got last night , Broncos by plenty !!
With a rested Payne and Ezra
This is going to be very ugly.

If the Broncos click and we don't turn up this will easily be 40 + win to them.

I fear Friday night what it will be.

Broncos had no injuries or judiciary issues (Farnsworth facing a fine only) from their match.
Haas and Mam back so they will be full strength (apart from Corey Oates being out injured).
We may have Turbo and Koula back. Ray will be available for selection.
Sipley may be out after that crusher tackle?
From the parts I saw if the first half tonight there was no cohesion in our attack and big defensive problems on our edges.
If that's the way we play against the Broncos we will be in deep deep doo-doo.

Im off caravanning again on Wednesday , might be in range Friday night , mightn’t be either.

The only positive is as soon as I go away they start winning again.

Happens every year.

That said , Donkeys by plenty

Enjoy your trip. Come back in September! 😉

Gee there’s not much love for me to stick around is there.

Ok , here’s the drum.

Leave next Wednesday , return the middle of July.

Best I can do 😂😂😢
2024?

Kidding 🙂

Seriously though, by then we'll either be happy campers here at ST or debating who our next coach will be.

We have great and horrible performances in us.

Hopefully we have one of the great ones on Friday.

Fingers crossed Tolu and Tom are back.

Still leaves Johns at 5/8 which is a worry

It really depends which part of the bi polar attitude decides to turn up.

They could blow the Donkeys off the park.

Or be absolutely blown off the park by the Donkeys.

There’s no rule of thumb there , no indicators to show which side will turn up.

It’s just a lottery

Maybe come back in 2024 we don’t look likely this year to be winning much

In even better news , as long as the Big C doesn’t get me in between ( currently ok ) we’ll be away 6 months next year , May to November.

We just have to navigate the first 10 weeks and then the winning run will start !!
Glad to hear you are currently ok health wise that's why I gave your post a winner.

Keep up the fight against it.

This will either be a bloodbath or a surprise upset

Either the boys will say stuff this and rally after last night's loss

But I fear the later

Broncos full strength apart from one or 2 players

Embarrssed by south's this week.

They will be primed to have a big night out.

Broncos 40-10 at the I early stage with our 10 points coming if turbo plays.

Yes, I fear the worst on this one, Broncs getting flogged by the Bunnies doesn't really help our cause at all. With Haas and wham bam it's mam, back. Id say they are at full strength apart from Oates but Arthurs to my mind is the better winger anyway. If Turbo can wind back the clock and Kaula plays, who knows miracles can happen..mmm..
