Manly pack stepped up

Big Paseka and Aloiai were monsters and Oka his usual power plays
Gordie was great and defended well
Jake solid as always and Ben Turbo was very good and more importantly- played tough
Browny a couple of errors but some super gutsy plays and his ball skills and passing are underrated, not his best game tonight but still fired up his mates and the crowd and he has won me over
Storms pack are a yardstick for resilience toughness and have the best 9 in the business and we deadset dominated them
The only times I seen them carve us up, they played it 2 metres off the mark and got away with it
Anyways this Msnly pack have copped plenty and copped flack and some much deserved criticism and deserve the accolades when stand up and that was tonight

Definitely stood up, great effort. Just a couple of lapses around marker that Grant exploited, but hey, I’m not going to let that ruin my mood!

Yeh Ranga - Grants a genius and took advantage when the door opened, but I will say 1 thing and not making excuses, Storm walk off the mark a couple times every set and that 2nd half they called Ben off and they split us was a definite example....but like you mate, let's just enjoy the sweet taste of victory 🔥

Totally agree @maxta. Bellamy coached teams infringe alost every tackle. He knows a referee will let most go so as not to ruin the ‘spectacle’.

We are a much more formidable pack when Tent and Al are on the park.
I hope Sippers can regain some form. We do need another strong prop on the bench.
Yep. Unfortunately Lodge is gone for the season, so we can only hope sippers steps up

Aloiai has been great this season! He & Paseka are a must to start games. Olakau’atu is a beast. With Sipley & Brown fit & firing & Jake playing the way he did tonight we have the fire power. Add Brbo, Bully, Waddel & we can go a long way to matching it with any pack.

He's been better. He's not earning his keep for the coin he is on in my opinion, but he looks like he's aware of that (had always looked like he owns his performance) and I'll never knock the bloke for a lack of effort, just common stupidity occasionally getting mixed up with desire.

Josh has played ten or twelve games for Manly where he has looked like the best front rower in the game, but there's been far too many blunders that overshadow these games.

That specific play was ridiculous. Should’ve been pulled back. Ben did the right thing and grant just took advantage of **** refereeing.
