Considering they pay a sizable $ to the club you would not begrudge them having input
Apparently they are pushing for us to be called the Manly Viruses next year.

Manly threats may be better. Cause like treats to your computer and stuff?!?!

Or maybe Manly 'give Ukraine back their peninsula."

Maybe it is the marketing man in me however they pay the money and the club gives them the real estate on the jersey.
I'm with you. Plus a pretty big diff between sponsors giving money for the betterment of Manly, and ch 9's motive of basically shoving the fans aside and ruining many aspects of the game.

Maybe Manly could release how much $$$$$ sponsorship goes for and those who hate the signs can all stump up the equivalent in cash? Club gets money, old timers have happy jersey dreams.....speaking of dreams and fantasy land.....

AFL have $$$$$$ sponsors but still retain the integrity of the jersey/club by only having a small sponsors badge on the jersey's front.

I have a dream that someday all jerseys will be created equal, free from sponsorship.

Wrong.
Crimea was Russian before it was ever Ukrainian.
Don't buy into the bias and controlled Western TV propaganda.

Crimea was under the Ottoman Empire before it became part of the Russian empire in 1783.

In 1954, ex Ukrainian Communist party member Nikita Kruschev decided to GIFT Crimea to Ukraine without its residents' say in the matter.

Why do you think the Crimeans recently voted to go back to Russia when they got the chance? Because majority of them are still Russians, not Ukrainians.

Furthermore, Ronald Reagan had an agreement with Mikhail Gorbachev not to expand NATO towards the Russian borders after allowing for the German re-unification in 1990.

The promise had since been broken many times with the inclusion of former Warsaw Pact countries like Czech, Slovak, Poland, Albania, Romania, etc.

Maybe these are the reason so many players want out. They've seen these ugly jerseys and don't want to play in them.

Now that we've run out in a parra wolverine jersey, how about one with Cameron smith, billy, ennis and Reynolds on the front.

Even a Manly cap or t-shirt would be cool if done as all maroon with that M-W sea eagle logo.

Manly should be pushing that flat cut M-W sea eagle logo same as Souths do with the white rabbit you see on car windows etc everywhere.

I didn't know that, Interesting stuff, Ramrod.
Thanks, Wedge.
We're fortunate to be living in the internet age where we have access to "more" information than what is being fed by lobbyists propaganda or hegemonic oligarchy.
Thanks also to people like Eddie Snowden who risked their own lives to tell us the truth.

If they are the Manly 2015 jerseys I'm already bored.

The Panthers team in the grand final yesterday wore their panther logo jersey. Looked great.

We’ve done a few retro Pepsi jerseys over the years.

I swear the u20s had an all maroon and white version somewhere, no blue or red, and thought it would make a great nrl jersey

Sadly sponsorship is an integral part of running a footy side these days so logos all over the jersey we'll be here to stay
As commercialised as the USA is, one thing they don't touch is the sports uniforms. The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL have a small manufacturers logo at the most, that's it. Same with their fields, courts etc, no advertising.

The Manly jersey from the 1950s with white shoulder/arm piping, but without the massive white sea eagle. The Texas A&M football team have something like it.

I think they can do that as their sports makes so much money anyway. They don't need team jersey sponsors.
