Maybe it is the marketing man in me however they pay the money and the club gives them the real estate on the jersey.

I'm with you. Plus a pretty big diff between sponsors giving money for the betterment of Manly, and ch 9's motive of basically shoving the fans aside and ruining many aspects of the game.


Maybe Manly could release how much $$$$$ sponsorship goes for and those who hate the signs can all stump up the equivalent in cash? Club gets money, old timers have happy jersey dreams.....speaking of dreams and fantasy land.....

AFL have $$$$$$ sponsors but still retain the integrity of the jersey/club by only having a small sponsors badge on the jersey's front.

I have a dream that someday all jerseys will be created equal, free from sponsorship.

Manly should be pushing that flat cut M-W sea eagle logo same as Souths do with the white rabbit you see on car windows etc everywhere.

Sadly sponsorship is an integral part of running a footy side these days so logos all over the jersey we'll be here to stay

As commercialised as the USA is, one thing they don't touch is the sports uniforms. The NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL have a small manufacturers logo at the most, that's it. Same with their fields, courts etc, no advertising.
